Can Progressive Dynamics RV Power Control Center W/ Converter PD4560K18LS8 Be Mounted Horizontally?

Question:

We have a 2004 Holiday Rambler Alumascape 26RKS 5th wheel with an American Enterprises CS-6000XL power converter, which is no longer available. Your website indicates that the replacement for this model is part # PD4560K18LS8. The dimensions on the original converter are H,W,D: 11.37, 13.61, 5.51, which is quite a bit smaller than the recommended replacement dimensions of your recommendation and all other newer replacement options. Our current model is located directly beneath the fridge and 2inch above floor, not allowing for the height difference on the new model. There may be room to expand width-wise and depth-wise, but we dont yet know what is located behind the wood work surrounding our converter. Due to placement of other fixtures in the RV, there doesnt seem to be any other space to create a new place for a larger converter. Can the converter be installed in a rotated position to accommodate the current space, and remain functional? I also noted that our old converter has 2 fans and all of the newer models have only 1 fan. Why? We would greatly appreciate any input/ ideas/ recommendations for our situation.

The Progressive Dynamics RV Power Control Center with AC/DC Panel and Converter/Smart Charger - 60 Amp # PD4560K18LS8 you were looking at can be mounted horizontally to fit your 2004 Holiday Ramblet Aumascape 26RKS 5th wheel, and will give you the clearance you need for it to fit your RV.

The reason there is only a single fan on the # PD4560K18LS8 and all of the new converters where your CS-6000XL is due to the efficiency of modern fans compared to what was available back when your American Enterprises CS-6000XL was made.

I included a video of the # PD4560K18LS8 for you to take a look at.
