Where Does Fifth Wheel Hitch Normally Install in Bed of Truck

In Your drawing on Clearance for Pick up and a fifth wheel rig - You do not have the measurements for the placement of the Hitch in a full 8 foot bed. What is the measurement of the pin box to pin What is the measurement of axle to bed What is the measurement of axle to outside tailgate What is the measurement of axle to bumper

In general the placement of a fifth wheel hitch in a truck's bed will be based on where it would allow the center of the king pin over the center of the rear axle. Sometimes the location will be an inch or so in front of the rear axle line. With the hitch located there the tailgate and rear bumper clearance between the truck and the trailer would be fine.
