Fastway E2 Weight Distribution Hitch Installation Instructions
Question:
The Curt receiver C15324 / OK or is there a better one? Fastway e-2 hitch FA94-00-1033 per your recommendation Fastway e-2 distribution shank FA92-02-4213 per your recommendation Hitch ball with a 1-1/4" shank per your recommendation...is this a 2-5/16" what is the torque spec for this and can e-trailer do this before it ships most of us do not have the wrench for this....read that it is 450 ft. lbs. Thanks again for your professional help and knowledge...

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C15324 is the highest rated compatible hitch for your 2004 GMC Yukon. All other compatible hitches are class 3's whereas this is a class 5.
The Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control # FA94-00-1033 does require a torque wrench that is capable of 450 ft-lbs to attach the hitch ball. The hitch ball needs to have a 1-1/4" diameter shank so since you need a 2-5/16" ball you can use the 2-5/16" Hitch Ball # A-6.
As for torqueing the hitch ball and the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Shank # FA92-02-4213 if you are local we could set up an appointment and have you bring in the equipment, if not I recommend checking with your local automotive shop as a torque wrench that's capable of 450ft-lbs can be expensive. There are a few different torque specs for this installation which you'll find on page 20 of the instruction manual which you'll also find attached to this page.
