Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver For 2011 Ford F-350 Extraction Winch

Question:

I have a 2011 ford F350 super duty with a 10800 lb gross weight. I am looking to put a winch on the front. I am considering the possibility of a receiver hitch with a winch mount vs a custom bumper or the exo winch. Do you a solution for pulling my truck out of stuck mud? : I looked at the draw tite hitch. However, it states it only has a 9000 pull. I am not sure if that will be enough when using in conjunction with a winch. please advise.

Your 2011 Ford F-350 with a GVWR of 10,800lbs is the maximum amount the vehicle can weigh fully loaded. Depending on your configuration your curb weight is likely between 6,000-7,500lbs.

Since you plan on using for a winch and mud will be involved I recommend the EcoHitch Hidden Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # EH59FR. It has a maximum line pull rating of 10,000lbs.

By using the Bulldog Winch Receiver Mount Kit # BDW20155 you will have the capability to move the winch to either the front or rear of your F-350 depending on where your best extraction point will be. This mount is designed for truck winches up to 12K with 10 x 4.5" mounting bolt patterns.

The Bulldog Winch # BDW10046 has a maximum 12,000lb pull rating and uses a 100' synthetic rope to both save weight make it safer to handle.

The Bulldog Winch Wiring Kits # BDW20207 and # BDW20205 will allow you to have both a quick connect on the front and back of your F-350.

The Winch Accessory Kit # SW2224 includes a pulley block, strap, shackles, gloves and carry bag. By using the pulley block you will reduce the amount of force used by the winch to extract yourself from large holes or steep inclines.
