Troubleshooting Low Pressure Propane Delivery In An RV
Question:
Winntec model 6020 with full propane tanks will only deliver at half rate meaning I can’t get a full flame it is not orange in color looks like a natural burn but will not go past medium volume Also when turning on the gas Initially I get blow by at the rear bottom of the regulator if I turned the gas off and then turn it back on that symptom goes away.

It sounds like your regulator vents could be clogged or the regulator is just bad and needs to be replaced. The Compact Low Pressure 2-Stage Automatic Changeover RV LP Gas Regulator # 37207-31525 comes with a gauge that will help show you when a tank is getting low or is empty and has a quick switch to change between tanks. If you are using multiple propane appliances at once you'll want the # 37207-30395 which is the same thing but with a higher BTU rating.
