Diameter of Tie-Down Holes of Lets Go Aero H01465 Hitch Mounted Cargo Carrier
Question:
24x48 Lets Go Aero # H01465 BigBoss Cargo Carrier What is the diameter of the holes around the top rim? Are they large enough for ratchet strap hooks to fit into to secure the loads? Is that top rim strong enough to handle ratchet straps or would the straps need to go all the way around the cargo and box?

The holes around the edge of the # H01465 Let's Go Aero BigBoss cargo carrier are 3/8 of an inch in diameter, so the S-hooks of some ratchet straps would fit. The sides of the carrier are pretty sturdy, but I could see how the carrier box could be deformed if the ratchets were ran down too aggressively. I'd say that the holes are more meant for bungee cords or a cargo net such as what's included with the # H01496 Cover/Cargo net.
