Recommended Air Helper Springs For 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali W/ Adaptive Ride Control

Question:

I just bought a 2021 GMC 1500 Denali and I am having an issue towing a Keystone 32RLI Travel Trailer. The trailer 10500lb is well within the trucks tow capacity of 11800lbs but my suspension is down to the stops. My question is can I use air bags without ruining my adaptive ride control. Thanks in advance,

You sure can!

I recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - Double Convoluted - Rear Axle # F2609 which my contact at Firestone was able to confirm will fit your 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali and will not interfere with the adaptive ride control.

The # AL57288 you were looking at is not compatible with the adaptive ride control.

The # F2609 offers up to 5000lbs of load leveling support which is adjustable by setting the air pressure between 5-100PSI to get the amount of support you need for your Keystone 32RLI Travel Trailer.

To keep from having to manually inflate the air helper springs each time you are ready to tow I recommend adding an on-board air compressor kit. I recommend the Air Command Compressor System w/ Light Duty Compressor - Wireless - Smartphone Enabled - Single Path # F2610 as it will allow you to control the pressure in the helper springs with your smartphone, and will not require you to mount any bulky gauges in your new truck.

I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
