Will Spindle # TRU37FR for Trailer Allow Use of Standard Hubs and Brake Assemblies
Question:
I have older 3inch OD mobile home I think axles that i want to install new 2x12 complete brake assemblies on. The flange offset is not correct to match the hub so I am thinking your new spindles will fix my problem. How can I be sure the ID is 2.25inch to match your spindles? Thanks,

Helpful Expert Reply:
Mobile home axle components are considered one time use and are mainly all non-standard parts which means that if you attempt to replace anything on them you find that nothing fits or matches. If you went with a new spindle like the part # TRU37FR you'd be able to install standard spindles and brake assemblies no-problem but they wouldn't bolt up to what you have now.
The hub/drum part # AKHD-655-6-EZ-K would match this spindle and then for brake assemblies # 23-458-459.
