Can I safely store a large Yakima cargo box 93” long, 36” wide, 17” high in a Rhino Rack?

You can use cargo boxes from different brands on other branded crossbars. The Yakima Skybox # Y07337 is about that size and will work with any Rhino Rack roof rack as long as the bars are less than or equal to 3-1/2 inches wide and 1-11/16 inches thick. It'll need a crossbar spread between 24 and 42 inches!

Yes, the Rhino-Rack Ski and Fishing Rod Carrier #RR572 that you referenced does fit the Whispbar crossbars you have. The picture I attached shows the carrier installed on a similar set of aero crossbars.

Hey Tim! Yes, the Rhino-Rack Ski and Fishing Rod Carrier #RR572 will fit the older Thule square crossbars. While this kit does come with T-Slot hardware, it also has the clamps which is what you'll use for the square crossbars.
