Does 2013 Toyota Highlander Require Sway Control When Towing Trailer
Question:
My Toyota Highlander manual says that sway control is necessary if towing more than 3K lbs. Is this different for different tow vehicles or is it totally trailer dependent?

A sway control requirement when towing a trailer isn't a standard requirement but if the owners manual of your 2013 Toyota Highlander does state you need it when towing 3,000 lbs or more then you do need to use a kit like the part # 83660.
