After speaking to my contact at Draw-Tite about your 2002 Ford E-350 Van, I recommend the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch # 41906. It is a 2-inch receiver with a maximum gross trailer weight of 10,000 lbs and a maximum tongue weight of 1000 lbs. It is custom fit for your van and requires no welding for installation.
I have provided a link to the installation instructions for this item as well as a link to a video showing the installation of this hitch on a 2003 Ford E-350 van. While it is a different model year, the installation techniques are the same.
The wiring you would need for your vehicle and this hitch if you plan to tow a trailer is the Draw-Tite 4-Pole Hardware Kit # 18252.
If you need a ball mount for this hitch, you might be interested in the B&W Ball Mount # BWBMHD30010. It has a rise of 1 inch and a drop of 2 inches. If you need a hitch ball, you could go with the 2-inch ball # A-90 or the 2-5/16-inch ball # 19286. If you are looking for a pin and clip for your setup, a # PC3 would be a great fit.
I have also included a link to our FAQ page on how to install a trailer hitch.
