Slide Out Topper Recommendation For 153" Measurement With No Clearance
Question:
I have a 2020 Forest River Heritage Glenn Elite series RL34 5th wheel I want to put a slide topper on the slide just left of the factory installed awning and entry door. Problem is the is only about 1 inch between the slide flange and the arm of the awning. Slide width is 153inch 12foot 9 flange to flange. I know there will have to be part of the slide not covered but not sure what size to actually order. Please advise. Thanks Chris

Because you have that awning arm so close you will have to go down a size to make sure the slide topper arms do not come into contact with the awning arm. The next size down is the Solera RV Slide-Out Awning - 12'1" Wide - 48" Projection - Black Item # LCV000177334 or # LCV000163298 for white.
You will have a small portion of the slide out not covered but will get a majority of it with this slide topper and won't have to worry about the arms touching.
