The hitch, # C11109, includes all the mounting hardware you need to install the hitch to your 2004 Chevy Cavalier.
In order to tow a trailer, you also need to purchase a drawbar, and the ball itself that sits on the drawbar. The drawbar for this hitch is part # 3592. This bar includes a hitch pin and clip. Your drawbar requires a ball with a shank diameter of 3/4 inch. I have added a page link that will show you all the balls that would fit your drawbar. You need to select the ball diameter that will fit your trailer coupler.
You will also need the have the wiring on your Cavalier set up for a trailer if you are intending to tow. I recommend kit # 18252. It includes a tester so you can double check your connections as you go. You could also get part # HM48595 to protect your connections when the trailer is in use, and part # C58200 to protect your connector when not towing a trailer.
In addition to towing, you can could a popular cargo carrier, part # 63155.
