Does the Lippert Replacement Gearbox for Venture Landing Gear Have a Capacity
Question:
I am mounting this on a Dutchman fifth wheel with a dry weight of 11,500 pounds. What is the capacity of this gear box?

A gearbox like the Lippert # LC276602 won't have a weight capacity since it's not a weight bearing part; this unit is typically used with landing gear that have capacities of up to 10,000-lbs. Landing gear systems are designed to support the pin weight of your trailer, so I don't see a situation where you'd have more than even 5,000-lbs on them.
As long as you've got Venture landing gear and motors on your Dutchman 5th wheel then this gearbox will work for you.
