What is the Weight of the MaxxHaul Motorcycle Carrier for 2-inch Hitches?
Question:
How much does the rack itself weigh? Can’t find this info In The description and need to make certain I can put it on my hitch myself. I would be use this for an Elliptigo Long Stride

The MaxxTow MaxxHaul Aluminum Motorcycle Carrier for 2" Hitches will weigh just under 50 pounds. I did some research on your Long Stride and found a few different models. As long the length of the bike is less than 79 inches, you are good to go.
If you need fastening straps to secure your ElliptiGO onto the MaxxHaul carrier, I recommend the Erickson Ratchet Tie-Down Straps w/ Web Clamps and S-Hooks # EM31353. The Erickson straps are effective because they are made with zinc-plated steel ratchets that help you achieve and maintain maximum tension on the straps. Also, there are plenty of places on the MaxxHaul where you can secure the S-hooks.
If you need a 2-inch hitch for your vehicle, feel free to provide me with the year/make/model of your vehicle and I would be more than happy to make a recommendation.
