Replacement Wheel and Tire For Shorelandr Boat Trailer With ST215/75D14 Tires

Question:

Is AM3S560 a replacement wheel for a Yamaha 195 Shorelandr trailer? The tires on the trailer now are ST21575D14. It has 5 bolts but looks like 4-1/4inch if I measured correctly??

It is possible that the Loadstar ST215/75D14 Bias Trailer Tire with 14" Galvanized Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - Load Range C # AM3S560 will fit your Shoreland'r boat trailer but you will want to double check the bolt pattern.

Using the included help article you will want to measure your bolt pattern and verify your bolt pattern.

If you do have the less common 5 on 4-1/4 bolt pattern there is two options.

The first is replacing your hubs with ones that use the 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern since we do not offer any wheels with the 5 on 5 on 4-1/4" bolt pattern. To do this you will need to remove one of your hubs and look for the bearing numbers stamped on the face of each bearing as shown in the included picture of the # L44649.

The second option is keeping your current wheels as long as they are in good shape and just replacing the tire. For a replacement tires I recommend the Karrier ST215/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range C # AM10229 which is a radial tire so it will be quite a bit better on the road than your current bias ply tires due to the difference in ply design. You will need to replace both tires as mixing radial and bias ply tires can cause unsafe handling.
