Will Tekonsha ZCI Vehicle Wiring Harness 119250KIT Fit 2014 Volkswagen Golf TDI?

Would this kit work with a 2014 VW Golf TDI with Aftermarker Taillights? I still have the OEM wires that plugs into the aftermarket lights. The lights were a plug and play system. In addition, would you be able to let me know what wires perform what function so that I would know how to wire it correctly?

The ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness w/ 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector and Installation Kit # 119250KIT you were looking at is confirmed to fit your 2014 Volkswagen Golf TDI, and will work with your aftermarket tail lights since the factory connectors are still used.

The functions of the wires on the # 119250KIT are as follows:

Red wire is the brake light wire

Yellow wire is the driver side turn signal wire

Green wire is the passenger side turn signal wire

Brown wire is the tail light wire

White wire is the ground wire

You will need to use the included circuit testers to find the functions of your factory wiring, and then use the included quick splices to make the connections.
