Are Any Other Parts Needed to Use Reese Friction Sway Control Kit
Question:
Reese Friction Sway Control Kit - Economy - by Draw-Tite, Reese and Hidden Hitch Item # 83660, I have a 2015 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-road with the towing package , what other parts would be needed to install this on our trailer? The trailer has a gvw of 3200#. The trailer sets very level when attached and haven’t had any sway issues yet, but, thought it would provide a little more safety to towing.

That's a really good question, and there are only two things you will need in order to use the Reese sway control, which are the kit and a bracket that mounts to your ball mount. The bracket will allow the kit to mount to the included hitch ball. So what you will need are the following:
- Reese Friction Sway Control Kit # 83660
- Reese Sway-Control Bracket for 2" Ball Mounts # RP26003
That would be all you need, and you are definitely right that using this sway control kit is a really good idea to add extra stability and safety while you are towing. I have added links below to some video reviews for you to check out as well if you'd like to take a look.
