Truxedo Sentry/Sentry CT Tonneau Cover Rear Window Visibility

Question:

Hi! What is the diameter of the rolled Sentry cover for an 8foot bed? I imagine its quite large and dont want to block my whole window view. Also, do you carry the Sentry CT model for an 8foot bed truck is a 2008 Dodge Ran 2500? Finally, how does the velcro hold up? I will have quite a bit of dust and hay exposed to it and I dont want to have to figure out how to replace it if thats even possible after only a year or two.

The Truxedo Sentry # TX1548101 roll up tonneau cover when rolled up will only cover up only a couple inches above where your rear head rest sit. You can see Conor in the video I've included talking about the visibility. Your truck will have a little less than the Gladiator because of your long bed. You really aren't going to obstruct your view enough for it to be an issue. The rolling tonneau covers are going to take up much less space in your bed and also give you a lot more visibility compared to a hard fold up tonneau cover. If you wanted to have zero blocking of your rear window, you would want to get a retractable cover like the Switchblade # 311-SWD2336. This rolls up into a canister by the bulkhead of your truck, will not take any visibility away but will use some of your bed space.

I haven't seen any issues with the longevity of the cover. The hook and loops can be cleaned out from the hay by using compressed air. This won't affect the shape of the hook and loops which will keep it working properly for many seasons.

Here is the Sentry CT Cover for your 2008 Dodge Ram 8 foot bed # TX1548101.
