You shouldn't have an issue fitting the Rhino-Rack J-Style Kayak Carrier - Fixed - Universal Mount # S510 onto your 2008 Toyota Tacoma's factory crossbars. While Rhino-Rack was not able to confirm fitment, I am fairly certain that it will work since this carrier is compatible with Rhino-Rack Vortex crossbars which measure 3-1/2" wide and 1-1/2" tall. So if your factory bars are no wider than 3-1/2" and no taller than 1-1/2" then it will for sure work, and if your bars are slightly bigger than I cannot say for sure if it will fit.
