Flat Towing A 2017 Jeep Cherokee Overland 4x4 w/Active Drive

I’m looking to buy this used Cherokee and flat tow behind a Class C. Is it safe and fairly easy if all safety equipment purchased?

As stated in the manual you're going to need the Mopar flat tow wiring kit from your local Jeep dealer to safely tow your vehicle. I've attached the flat towing portion of the manual for in the pictures below. As long as you follow all the rules in the manual and use the properly rated equipment for you vehicle it should all be easy and safe.
You'll also need the following items to flat tow:
Tow Bar: Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar w/ LED Lights - RV Mount - 8K Item # RM-676.
Tow Bar Wiring: Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit Item # RM-154.
Base Plates: Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms Item # RM-521446-5.
Braking System: Brake Buddy Stealth Supplemental Braking System - Proportional Item # HM39530. This kit comes with a battery charger so your vehicle's battery will stay charged while towing.
Safety Cables: Blue Ox 7' Safety Cables - 7,500 lbs - Qty 2 Item # BX88196
