does this landing gear fit a 2000 Jayco Qwest, 237A fifth wheel camper? and if not, what are your return policies? What measurements can I make. to ensure a good fit?

The Stromberg Carlson # LG-1 is an industry-standard landing gear that should fit on your fifth wheel with no problems. The mounting brackets weld directly to the frame of your fifth wheel, and the jacks would then mount into the brackets. As long as your Jayco Qwest has exposed frame members under the trailer loft for the brackets to weld to, the LG-1 will work great for you.
