Im looking at this kit and wondering how it works if my Patriot is hitting the brake pedal inside, when my bus is also braking and telling the brake lights to work?

Diode tow bar wiring kit part # RM-152 does not integrate in any way with how the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR installs so there would be no interference.
