Can Tekonsha Primus IQ be Mounted on Floor of 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee

i just bought this brake controller from your site and i wanted to leave it hanging on the floor since its automatic leveling, is that okay? its just sitting under the car seat but deff not leveled, is that okay ?

While I'm not 100 percent certain which brake controller you are referencing, though from what I can tell it is the Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller # TK90160.

If you'd like you can have it mounted on the floor, but you do need to make sure it is perfectly horizontal at all times, as you can see from the cut out I added of the linked instructions of this controller. That can be quite difficult to do on the floor unless it is somehow secured there so while you can do this, I would recommend attaching it to your Grand Cherokee under the dash.

The only other thing I wanted to mention, since it looks like you have the factory 7-way in your 2014 Grand Cherokee, is that the correct wiring harness is the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers # TK93VR.
