Motor Clicks While Lifting Trailer with Electric Stabilizer Jacks

Question:

Hello, I have noticed my front, left corner jack will no longer lift my camper for leveling. It will retract completely, and extend to the ground, but when the weight of the camper starts resisting, it begins to click, inch as if the motor is slipping from the screw shaft. It will not raise this corner of the camper any further, once this begins. How can I fix this problem? Thank you!

It sounds like you have a set of electric stabilizer jacks and if they are from Lippert we do have replacement motor options. In order to find the correct one you'll need to note the color of the support arms. If you support are yellow then you need the Replacement Electric RV Stabilizer Jack Motor part # LC352338 but if the support arms are black then you need Replacement Electric RV Stabilizer Jack Motor part # LC138445. It does indeed sound like the motor is bad.
