Will Trailer Hitch Receiver From 2011 Honda CR-V Fit 2021 Honda CR-V?
Question:
A couple of years ago i purchased a draw tite hitch from you for a 2011 honda cr-v. Im now selling this car and was wondering if the same hitch will work on a standard, not hybrid 2021Honda cr-v that Im planning on buying? Love the hitch and would like to put it on my new car.

I have a replacement option for you, but the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75547 you purchased for your 2011 Honda CR-V only fits the 2007-2011 CR-Vs.
For your new 2021 Honda CR-V I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 76128 which is very similar in appearance to your older hitch, but is designed to work on your new vehicle. The # 76128 still has the same 675lb tongue weight rating and 4500lb trailer weight rating so you know it is built to the same quality.
If you are planning on towing with your CR-V you will need to add a vehicle wiring harness # 118741, and if you do not already have a ball mount, hitch ball, and hitch pin and clip you can use the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900.
To help offset the cost of purchasing a new hitch, you can sell yours on a resell website, though hitch mounting hardware is designed for one time use so the new owner will need replacement hardware kit # RHK.
I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
