Will the Redarc Brake Controller work on Electric over Hydraulic Brakes on a Triple Axle 5th Wheel?
Question:
Is the REDARC compatible with the HSE7K-TR1 kit? Also, how much more stopping power will I have? Your trailer or does not have my rig. I have a 2019 Dutchman Voltage Epic 3970. I see you sell several electric over Hydraulic controllers. Would a more powerful one be better? I would like the most stopping power I can get.

Expert Reply:
Yes the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller # RED44FR is compatible with electric over hydraulic braking systems on up to 3 axles. So it will work with the installation of the HydraStar Disc Brake Kit w/ Actuator for Triple Axle Trailers # HSE7K-TR1.
By upgrading to the hydraulic disc brake kit this will greatly increase the amount of stopping force that your 2019 Dutchman Voltage Epic 3970 will have. You will not need a more powerful brake controller as the Redarc will be all you need for up to 3 axles.
The most important part of this brake job is ensuring that you get out all air bubbles in the brake lines so that you do not have spongy brakes. A Hand Vacuum Pump Brake Bleeder # PTW87030 is a great tool that will make bleeding the brakes much easier for you.
