Roadmaster Comfort Ride Suspension Kit for Arctic Fox 29-5T

Question:

We have a 2020 Arctic Fox 29-5T that has some chucking I cant seem to tune out and wanted to look at a cushioned equalizer and happened upon the Roadmaster slipper kit. I have 7K axles, but the dry weight is 12,600 10,100 Axle, 2,500 hitch and the total GVWR is 15,800. Sits on Dexter axles with a 4inch tall HD Dexter equalizer. The 7K kit has 3500lb springs that are only 5 leaf my current is 6 @ 3500 lbs. Roadmaster mentioned using the 8k springs due the weight of the trailer and to ensure the ride height didnt sag below the 6 spring stock setup, but Im a little unsure of this advice given my weights above and think it may be too heavy of a spring. Given the weights listed, which spring setup would be a better fit for my trailer 7K or 8K, keeping in mind I have to maintain ride height for proper hitch clearance? I know I need the 7K shocks as my axles are still only 3inch diameter. Thank you!

Helpful Expert Reply:

The Roadmaster Comfort Ride you'd want for your 2020 Arctic Fox 29-5T is the # RM-2460-2580 which is properly rated for your trailer, fits your 3 inch axles, is height adjustable so it can match the height you currently have, and will get rid of the chucking you are experiencing.
