I can tell you exactly how to determine the ball mount with the correct rise or drop for your 2018 Toyota 4Runner so you can tow the Malone EcoLight Sport Trailer # MAL53FR.
Since we know the measurement from the ground to the bottom of the coupler on the EcoLight is 14 inches, the only thing you need to do is measure the distance from the ground to the top of your hitch receiver. If the measurement to the top of your receiver is more than 16 inches, you will need a ball mount with drop; if it is less than 14 inches, you will need one with rise.
For example, let's say you measured to the top of your 4Runner's hitch and got 18 inches; for that you would need 2 inches of drop so you would use the etrailer Ball Mount Kit for 2" Hitches - 3/4" Rise or 2" Drop # 989891.
Or if you measured and the top of your receiver was 13 inches, you would need 3 inches of rise, the etrailer Ball Mount Kit for 2" Hitches - 2-3/4" Rise or 4" Drop # 989892.
I have added a link below to our entire selection of ball mounts for you, which you can filter by rise or drop.
