Question:

Do you have a kit like this for adding EOH disk brakes to a boat trailer? It dual has 5200 pound axles with 6 on 5.5 hubs. Also, in looking out on Hydrastars website they dont have any information on their disk brakes.

While we don't have a go to kit we can build one using parts that are available.

First is the HydraStar Vented Marine Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator # HS381-8067. If you are building from scratch we have the HydraStar Marine Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator w/ Breakaway and 7-Way RV Harness # HS381-9067 to include the wiring and battery components.

Second is the Kodiak Disc Brake Kit - 12" Hub/Rotor - 6 on 5-1/2 # K2HR526DKG. These assemblies are rust resistant for your boat trailer. The assembly is for a #42 Spindle and the bearings and seal are sold separately. You will need Bearing Kit # DBRKHW6SS for a standard spindle or Bearing Kit # DBRKHW6EZ for EZ lube spindles.

Lastly you will need a Brake Line Kit, 15' # HS496-152 or 25' # HS496-252. The length that is in reference is for the single brake line that will run from the brake actuator down the frame to the first mounting distribution block for the brake lines.
