Replacement Shank With More Drop for Fastway Weight Distribution
Question:
I have a 600/6000 lb fastway trunion wd sway control hitch and I need an extra hole on the of the shank to lower the hitch to the proper height. I have a current shank that measures 6.5inch from the top of the horizontal shaft to the center of the last hole. Do you have an extended shank

The Fastway # FA92-02-4214, which would be quite a bit deeper, would be the best option we have. The distance from the top of the bar to the first hole is 4 7/8 inches. to the second hole is 6 1/4 inches, to the third is 7 1/2 inches, to the fourth is 8 3/4 inches, to the fifth is 10 inches, and to the sixth is 11 1/4 inches. This would give you a maximum drop of 5-1/2 inches with a trunnion bar set up, like the Fastway # FA92-00-0800, or a maximum drop of 7-1/4 inches with a round bar set up, like the Fastway # FA94-00-1061.
