Can Shank of Blue Ox BXW1000 be Swapped to Fit 2-1/2 inch Hitch

I’ve been using the Blue Ox BXW1000 pulling my 7495 # GVW TT with an F150, and I am upgrading to an F350 that has a 2 1/2 inch hitch receiver. I’m not crazy about using a reducer sleeve, so is there a 2 1/2 inch replacement shank that will work with this Blue Ox hitch? I have been using the 7 hole, 9 inch receiver.

You can swap to a shank that fits the 2-1/2 inch hitch directly like with the Equal-i-zer part # EQ90-02-4900 which works great with Blue Ox weight distribution systems too like your # BXW1000.

In order to determine the torque rating for the lug nuts on your trailer you will need to know check out the chart I attached that shows all of the torque specs for all the trailer lugs available based on stud size, wheel material and wheel size.
