Recommended Light Weight Hitch To Tow Gooseneck and 5th Wheel Camper With 2013 Ford F-250
Question:
We have both a 5th wheel camper and a gooseneck horse trailer. Need the extra clearance for the camper so thinking about slider. Drive a 2013 Ford F250. Want to have ability to remove or move forward the fifth wheel to have access to gooseneck ball - dont want a hernia everytime we need to switch for towing. Do you have any other suggestions.....

I do have another, lighter option for you since the B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider - Dual Jaw - 18,000 lbs # BWRVK3270 you were looking at weighs in at 220lbs so it can definitely take a few people to move around.
I recommend adding the Ranch Hitch Universal 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Coupler Adapter w/8" Offset for Short-Bed Trucks # AM3139 to the king pin on your 5th wheel trailer which will allow it to be towed with your 2-5/16" gooseneck ball in your 2013 Ford F-250. The # AM3139 has 8" offset specifically designed for extra clearance with short bet trucks like yours.
With this option you will be able to use your standard gooseneck ball for both your trailers so you will not need to move a heavy hitch when you need to use your gooseneck hitch, and will have the clearance you were looking for.
I included a vide of the # AM3139 for you to take a look at.
