Troubleshooting Bar Heights Be Wrong for Rhino Rack RVP Roof Rack for 2016 Kia Sorento

Question:

I have a problem a wish to ask your professional advice. I have completed installation of a set of Rhino-Rack RVP Roof Rack for Fixed Mounting Points - Vortex Aero Crossbars , Aluminum. The rear bar looks as though it may be an inch or so higher than the front bar. I will measure the variance as soon as I am able. I have looked at the adjustment rubber foot pads offered by Rhino-Rack available through E-Trailer bur I am not sure the would do the job. Please advise me on the most professional/safe way to bring to two bares into alignment. Thank you for your help. Sincerely.

I checked your order notes and found that you ordered the Rhino Rack RVP87 part # RR98TB for your 2016 Kia Sorento. Since you said the height difference seems extreme what most likely happened is you installed the feet of the rack in the wrong position. This roof rack kit comes with feet that are 65 mm high and 45 mm high to compensate for the height difference on the roof of your vehicle. So what you'd want to try is reversing where you have the feet of the rack installed and that should allow the rack to be the correct height.
