How Much Thicker than OEM Sway Bar is Roadmaster # RM-1139-148
Question:
The OEM bar is substantial. What makes this one work better? What is the diameter of the OEM bar? Seems like the same thing. 2016 Thor ACE 18,000# GVWR. Ford chassis.

The OEM crossbar that the Roadmaster sway bar # RM-1139-148 replaces is 1-1/2 inches while the Roadmaster is 1-3/4 inches. It's also made from 4140 chromoly steel while OEM bars are typically made from a lower quality steel. This means the bar provides better handling.
