I have another option for you, but the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118381 is actually for vehicles with the factory 7-way connector.
Since you do not have a factory connector on your 2006 Dodge Durango you will need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118390 instead.
Then to add a 7-way connector you will need the # ETBC7 which will plug into your factory connector and require a few more connections as follows:
Black wire to positive terminal of vehicle battery with included 40 amp circuit breaker
White wire grounded to frame
Blue wire to dash of vehicle where trailer brake controller is mounted if needed.
If you are needing a trailer brake controller I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 due to it being extremely reliable and having great features like an easy to read LCD screen, and built in diagnostics that are easy to read and understand.
I included videos for each of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
