Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver For A 1982 Ford F-350 DRW With Deep Bumper

Hi, Everything Ive read says that the c15511 or c15317 is the hitch I need 1982 F350 dually because I have a bumper, but my frame on center is 35 5/8. What do you recommend?

Since your 1982 Ford F-350 DRW has the Deep Bumper I recommend the Curt 3-Piece Trailer Hitch Receiver - Multi Fit - Class V - 2" # C15511 as it will work with both 34" and 37-1/2" wide frames so you will not have an issue.

The # C15317 you were looking at is only confirmed to fit the 1988-2000 Chevrolet C/K series pickups with the 10" drop bumper and would not fit your F-350.

Keep in mind that while the # C15511 has a 1500lb tongue weight rating and 15000lbs trailer weight rating your F-350 may not so you will want to check your owner's manual to confirm the capacities of your truck and use the lower rating between the hitch and vehicle.
