We can get your 2019 Subaru Forester set up to tow with the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller # RED44FR, as there's just a couple of things you will need. The first is a 4-way, if your Forester does not have one, and the other is a 7-way and installation kit, and we have all of that for you, with the following:
- T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118467
- Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7
First you'll install the 4-way, then the # ETBC7, which the 4-way will plug into, and which gives you the 7-way connector, circuit breakers, and the rest of the hardware needed to install the Tow-Pro Elite # RED44FR.
The Tow-Pro Elite is a really nice choice for a brake controller for your Forester because of its control knob which keeps a cumbersome unit out of your cab, and because it gives you more control over your trailer braking power than any other brake controller.
