Recommend Platform Bike Rack For Childrens Bikes
Question:
I am looking at purchasing a platform bike rack but do not know if it will accommodate 2 girls bikes since they both have low bars.

If you are just wanting a 2-bike carrier then I would look into Hollywood Racks Destination Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches # HLY94FR. This is a very versatile bike carrier that has adjustable cradles to attach onto the bike frames, thus making it compatible with many different styles of bikes including children's and women's bikes. It does not interfere with the wheels so it will also work with bikes that have fenders or baskets. This bike rack is also very lightweight at only 20lbs, making it easy to install or remove from your vehicle with only one person. It also folds up nicely when not in use, which saves room when the carrier is on or off the vehicle.
If you are looking for a 4-bike carrier then I recommend the Hollywood Racks Destination Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount # HR4000 which is just the 4 bike version of the 2 bike carrier mentioned above. This only fits 2" receivers, whereas the 2-bike version fits 1-1/4" and 2" receivers. If you don't have a trailer hitch receiver on your 2011 Honda CR-V then I would get the affordable and sleek Etrailer 2" Hitch Receiver # e39AR. I attached demonstration videos for these products that you can check out.
