Kia Sportage & 4 Bikes or Cargo Carrier

Hello, I sent a question a couple days ago but didnt get a reply. I was able to get some of my questions answered by reading some of the articles on your site. Your site is an incredible wealth of helpful information! I have a 2015 Kia Sportage. I am planning on buying the class III 2 hitch and a cargo holder I think its a 24 x 60 on your site. I am also planning on buying a bike rack to fit 4 bikes on it. Would this hitch work for both the cargo holder and bike rack for 4 bikes?

Yes, the trailer hitch I suggested, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13120, will work with either a cargo carrier or a bike rack but you can not use both at the same time. However, if you are considering a bike rack too, then I suggest you look at the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 Bike Rack w/ Cargo Carrier # HR1450Z-85. As stated previously, please check your owners manual for vehicle specific weight limitations.

If the combination cargo carrier/bike rack is not what you are looking for then I suggest the Thule Hitching Post Pro - Folding Tilting 4 Bike Rack, # TH934XTR.
