Will PortablePET Twistep Hitch Step Work With Threaded Lock on 1-1/4 Inch Receiver

Will the PortablePET Twistep HE3052 work on a 2004 Subaru Forester and with a pin that is Threaded portion: 1/2, Non-threaded portion: 3/8?

You can use a threaded hitch lock with the PortablePET Twistep Hitch Mounted Step # HE3052 on your Forester's 1-1/4" hitch, though not one with just a 3/8" non-threaded portion as it isn't long enough; that said, we do have a hitch lock that is designed for use with this step, which is the following:
- Advantage Threaded Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 1-1/4" Hitches # HE6033
