Recommended 7-way Connector And Trailer Brake Controller For 2013 Land Rover Range Rover Sport

I have this 4 wire on my 2013 RRS Upgraded Circuit Protected ModuLite with 4-Pole Flat, Hardwire Kit, and Circuit Tester Item # 119179KIT and need to go to a 7 wire with a brake controller. Some recommendations please.

There are a few options to add a 7-way connector to your 2013 Land Rover Range Rover Sport with the now discontinued 119179KIT installed.
The first option is the # ETBC7 which will plug into your existing 4-way connector and only require you to make a few more connections, and will use a traditional trailer brake controller like the extremely reliable Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195.
The option I recommend is using the # ETBC7L and Curt Echo Wireless # C51180. The great part about this combination is the # C51180 will plug directly into the 7-way connector meaning you will not have to drill any holes to mount the controller inside of your vehicle, and since it can be used in any vehicle with a functioning 7-way connector if needed.
