Recommended RV Cargo Carrier with a 500-LB Capacity

Do you have a rack that mounts to a 8 bumper, is at least and preferably close to 24x36 and has a carrying capacity of 500lbs? Thanks for taking the time

It sounds like you're looking for an RV cargo carrier for an 8" bumper that's 24x36" with a 500-lb capacity. I have a possible solution for you.

First, though, the only bumper-mounted cargo carrier we carry that closely matches the dimensions and capacity is the etrailer Cargo Carrier, part # e99050. It is 24x40" and has a 500-lb capacity. However, it only fits 4x4 or 4-1/2x4" bumpers.

A better option may be to install a hitch on your RV and use a hitch-mounted cargo carrier. For the hitch, I recommend the Curt Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver, part # C13704. It fits box frames, C-channel frames, or I-beam frames between 22 and 66" wide. I've linked to a video review for you to look at.

For the cargo carrier, I recommend the Curt Cargo Carrier, part # 63153. It has a 500-lb capacity and measures 24x60".
