Slide Topper For A 2018 Lance 2375 TT With A 90 Slide Box

Question:

I have a 2018 Lance 2375 TT. I would like to install a slide awning. I did measure flange to flange on the slide. It is 90 inches. Also, when Lance built the trailer, they installed a combo roof drip rail, that has a groove for an awning to be installed for the slide out. I think I would need a 96 inch awning, which would give 3 extra inches on each side, I did find a awning on your website, model # LCV000163289. You had one listed as missing a rail, this would be perfect for us, we dont need a rail! Will this size work on our Lance 2375?

If your 2018 Lance 2375 TT slide box measures 90" then yes, you are correct. You would want the Solera RV Slide-Out Awning - 8'1" Wide - 48" Item # LCV000163289. Since there are so many different variations of campers and RV's, the awning extrusion rails are included in every kit. Not all campers and RV's will use them. Some are equipped with what you have, which doubles as a gutter with extrusion, some have the extrusion separate from the gutter and pre-installed, and some have just a gutter that has to be removed and the extrusion that comes in the kit is put in its place.

I highly recommend using butyl tape Item # 362BT-18x1-50 on any bracket you are going to be using screws to mount it. The butyl tape provides a water barrier on the back side. As you drive the screw into the side wall of the camper, the screw will grab onto the butyl tape and essentially plug the hole around the screw head so water cannot enter. The rest of the butyl tape on the bracket keeps water from getting to the holes.

I have provided a link to a video to help walk you through how to get it installed. The instillation video I did is not with your size canopy or camper however; the instillation is exactly the same.
