Is the Blue Ox Acclaim Tow Bar Removable From the Base Plates After Towing
Question:
Looking at the Blue Ox tow bar BX4330. The tow bar is removeable from the base plate, isnt it? Why would I want to drive around with the tow bar stowed on the front of my Mini convertible? I am ready to purchase that model as soon as I get clarification on it. Thank you

Yes. The Blue Ox Acclaim Tow Bar - A-Frame - Car Mount - 5,000 lbs # BX4330 does remove from the Blue Ox base plates # BX1303 when you're not towing; most of the time the tow bar will be stored on the coach- either locked to the receiver on the RV or removed and locked up in storage. All you'll need to do when you reach your destination is pull the pins that are used to connect to the base plates and you're free to drive your 2006 Mini Cooper wherever you need.
