Transmission Cooler Recommendation for 2013 Nissan Pathfinder SL

Hello, I purchased the 2013 Nissan Pathfinder SL with tow hitch III. Can you tell me if it has a transmission cooler already. I will add one if necessary before towing.

All vehicles with automatic transmissions have a transmission cooler factory installed. Based on my research of your 2013 Nissan Pathfinder SL, it does not appear that your vehicle comes with any additional coolers or a larger transmission cooler than is the manufacturer standard.

You can have your dealer run the VIN on your vehicle and that will provide a run down of the various options that it is equipped with. If you want to add an additional cooler, they are not vehicle specific. You will want to use the largest one we have available that will physically fit within your engine compartment. The Derale Transmission Cooler # D13503 you referenced measures 11 inches wide by 8-3/4 inches tall by 7/8 inches deep and is recommended for full-size cars, trucks, and SUVs. I recommend the largest cooler that will fit because transmission fluid cannot be over cooled.
