Recommended Parts Needed To Tow a Trailer with a 2018 Subaru Forester
Question:
I need a trailer hitch on my 2018 Subaru Forester. From your site, i have identified #e98839, #C56040, and #98900. Are these correct for my vehicle? What else will I need?

Expert Reply:
Yes, the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e98839 is a great option for a 2018 Subaru Forester and a direct fit. It can then be used with the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness part # C56040 to activate the trailer lights. I'd then recommend using the etrailer Ball Mount Kit part # 989900 to complete your setup. This would be all that is required though you could add the etrailer Trailer Hitch Reciever and Coupler Lockset, Alignment Collar, and Bag part # e99039-9 for locks as well.
