Trailer Hitch and Install Recommendation for 2016 BMW X3
Question:
Hello, I was wondering if you have any shop affiliated with you guys who specializes installing your Tow Hitches here in Las Vegas. I like your Tow Hitches and I like how they get installed on a BMW X3. Thank you.

We don't have any specific recommendations, but any trusted mechanic would usually be able to complete a hitch installation without difficulty. However, a mostly-concealed design hitch like the Draw-Tite # 76226 you'd looked at would require that the bumper and bumper cover which is a pretty extensive process. Because of that, your local body shop would be a better choice as they'd be more familiar with removing and reinstalling parts like bumper covers/fascia.
If you'll be using the hitch for towing, you'll need a few other items to complete your towing system. For a trailer wiring harness, I'd recommend the Tekonsha ZCI, part # 119250KIT this harness uses zero contact interface sensors that won't require cutting or splicing any of the taillight circuits. For ball mount, use part
# 40346 along with a # PC3 hitch pin. For a 1-7/8 inch trailer ball use # 19260 or # 63845 for a 2 inch ball.
