For a metal license plate bracket that will work with the 5-3/4" mounting holes and will still work with your license plate light that has 2" mounting holes you will want the Trailer License Plate Mount Bracket # LP15SB.
The zinc plating will help to keep the bracket from rusting and is a great option for a boat trailer.
I included a video of the # LP15SB for you to take a look at.
