Weight Distribution/Sway Control Recommendation for 4000lb GVWR RPod 180 Travel Trailer
Question:
I have a 2018 Ram Rebel 4x4 with air suspension. Will be towing 2018 R pod 180. Dry weight 2662, payload 1170 and hitch weight 332. When towing I put Ram in Normal mode on suspension and Tow on transmission. Which Weight Distribution - Sway Control System do you suggest? Thanks for your time

Fastway offers the # FA92-00-0600 e2 weight distribution/sway control system that would be ideal for the roughly 4000 lb GVWR of your Forest River Rpod 180. This system is designed for trailers with fully loaded tongue weighs ranging from 250-600 lbs, which is right in line with what the fully loaded tongue weight of your small travel trailer would be.
For a 2 inch hitch ball, use # EQ91-00-6080 or # EQ91-00-6120 for a 2-5/16 inch ball. To install the hitch ball, you'll need a 1-7/8 inch thin walled socket. If you don't have one, we offer them as part # EQ70-00-4800.
I'll link you to a video where you can see my buddy Randy showing how to install and set up the system.
